Specifications of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 3.6 V6 FWD (264 Hp) Hybrid
General characteristics of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 3.6 V6 FWD (264 Hp) Hybrid
The 2020 minivan doesn't look any different from the previous model year, which means you get the same clean design and flowing side profile. Standard features include a power-sliding rear door, 17-inch polished aluminum wheels, power heated exterior mirrors, and a Chrysler wing grille badge along with a shark fin antenna and lower bodyside sill applique.
Besides the delightfully intoxicating low-down push of torque you get from the electric motors, the hybrid system in the Pacifica is also designed to save you money on gas (who would've thought?), and as far as minivans go, the Pacifica Hybrid is as efficient as they come. In non-hybrid guise, the 2020 Pacifica will manage an EPA estimated 22 mpg on the combined cycle. The Hybrid version will achieve an EPA-estimated 82 MPG equivalent (MPGe), or 30 mpg combined for those who only understand gas-speak which is an incredibly impressive number for a near-on 5,000 pound minivan, but what is even better is the fact that you'll be able to cruise around on all-electric power for 32 miles, making the Pacifica Hybrid a practical all-electric vehicle in the city.
With up to 243 different seating configurations, the Pacifica is truly a master of carrying people and their stuff. In standard form, you get seating for seven adults, but an extra seat is available on request. In the front, passengers get 41.1 inches of legroom, while taller drivers will be happy with the 40.1 inches of headroom on offer. Second-row occupants get 39 inches of leg space and an impressive 39.6 inches of headroom. All the way in the back, third-row passengers make do with 36.5 inches of legroom and a decent 38.7 inches of headroom, while access to the third-row isn't all that bad either.
People buy minivans because they offer a lot of space for people and their things. The Pacifica Hybrid has plenty of space for both: behind the third row, you're offered 32.3 cubic feet of space, enough for a disassembled kiddies soccer net and a teenage Golden Retriever. Behind the second row, you get 87.5 cubic feet of space, which is the going rate for vehicles in this class. With all the seats folded flat, the Pacifica Hybrid will grant you 140.5 cubic feet of freedom to herd cats, toddlers, or drunk co-workers into.
